An Act relative to notice of public meetings

Section 20 of chapter 30A of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2022 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the word “notice”, in line 7, the following:- “shall be publicized on the public body’s website, and”

    This bill makes government meetings more accessible and transparent. By requiring that meeting notices be posted on the public body’s website, it becomes much easier for the general public to find out when and where important decisions are being made.

    Other states like Colorado already have this in place.
